Enhancing Yard Operations with Smart Strategies

Container terminals serve as critical nodes in the global supply chain, facilitating the seamless movement of goods across the globe. However, the complexity of operations within these terminals often leads to inefficiencies that can significantly hinder throughput and service quality. These challenges are compounded by limited and rigid operating systems, which rely heavily on predefined rules and empiric knowledge, a one-size-fits-all approach that is unable to extract more volume and efficiency from terminals. In this environment, the concept of intent-driven operations emerges as a promising solution to enhance yard operations and address these systemic challenges.
